教材分析
本單元的中心話題是“新聞”,內(nèi)容涉及新聞工作者應(yīng)該具備的素質(zhì)和新聞采訪的基本程序等。語言技能和語言知識(shí)主要圍繞“新聞”這一中心話題進(jìn)行設(shè)計(jì)的。
Warming up部分通過討論來引出報(bào)社各工作人員的工作類別和所負(fù)的責(zé)任。關(guān)鍵在于What’s the job?和 What it involves?
Pre-reading部分首先通過一個(gè)調(diào)查問卷來引導(dǎo)學(xué)生去考慮一個(gè)優(yōu)秀的記者應(yīng)該具備的素質(zhì);然后引導(dǎo)學(xué)生談他們難忘的經(jīng)歷和感受;最后通過一個(gè)“假設(shè)”為下一部分的學(xué)習(xí)做好準(zhǔn)備。
Reading
2、部分通過Zhou Yang,一個(gè)躍躍欲試的新手和他的上司Hu Xin, 一個(gè)經(jīng)驗(yàn)豐富的資深記者之間的談話引導(dǎo)學(xué)生了解新聞工作者應(yīng)該具備的素質(zhì),新聞采訪的基本程序及采訪時(shí)應(yīng)該注意的要點(diǎn)等。
prehending設(shè)計(jì)了四個(gè)教學(xué)活動(dòng)來加深學(xué)生對(duì)“閱讀”(prehending)部分的理解和復(fù)習(xí)。
第一個(gè)活動(dòng)要求學(xué)生根據(jù)要求,通過閱讀找到所需要的信息,重新組織后再呈現(xiàn)出來。
第二個(gè)活動(dòng)要求學(xué)生把閱讀部分分成三個(gè)小節(jié),并說明每個(gè)小節(jié)的要點(diǎn)。
第三個(gè)活動(dòng)通過形容詞歸類進(jìn)一步去引導(dǎo)學(xué)生思考一個(gè)優(yōu)秀的文字記者和攝影記者應(yīng)該具備的素質(zhì)。
第四個(gè)活動(dòng)要求學(xué)生朗讀后半部分對(duì)話

Learning about language 歸納和運(yùn)用了本單元的一些重點(diǎn)詞匯和語法。
Using language部分涵蓋了聽,說,讀,寫四項(xiàng)語言基本技能。
第一部分學(xué)生首先通過閱讀“獲得‘獨(dú)家新聞’”一文。寫出“新聞”報(bào)道的步驟和見報(bào)前的有關(guān)程序,然后討論這位“影星”可能說了什么謊話。
第二部分首先聽一段對(duì)籃球明星姚明的采訪。隨后的練習(xí)設(shè)計(jì)既訓(xùn)練了學(xué)生獲取要點(diǎn)的能力,又引導(dǎo)學(xué)生如何獲取細(xì)節(jié)。
最后要求學(xué)生通過開展兩人對(duì)話活動(dòng)復(fù)習(xí)鞏固有關(guān)交際功能“約會(huì)”的用語。
Summing up部分歸納了本單元的主要學(xué)習(xí)內(nèi)容并引導(dǎo)學(xué)生

Learning tip部分建議學(xué)生盡可能多的閱讀一些適合于中學(xué)生的英文報(bào)紙。教師不妨推薦一些給學(xué)生,或讓學(xué)生自己推薦一些他們認(rèn)為好的英文報(bào)紙。

(3) 學(xué)會(huì)表達(dá)約會(huì)的日常交際用語。

(1) 學(xué)習(xí)倒裝句(Inversion)的用法。
(2) 學(xué)習(xí)寫新聞報(bào)道。

1. Ask Ss to look at the following pictures and see how much they know about news.

Ask Ss the question “Do you know how to make the news?” Please discuss in groups.

Today we will learn something about making the news. Suppose you work for China Daily. What types of jobs do you choose? What does it involve? Now in pairs discuss them. Give reasons for your choice.
