Step 1. Warming up
1. Bring in a large calendar and sports equipment, e.g. a basketball, a ping pong ball t

2. T: What day is it today? (Point to the current day of the week) Oh, it’s (Tuesday)
3 .Hold up a basketball
4. T: I play basketball on Tuesday,
5. Give the basketball to various Ss and have Ss repeat the sentences
6. Hold up other pieces of equipment to various Ss. Model sentences a

Step2. Presentation
1. T: Open your books .Let’s listen to the tape.
2 .Play the tape and point to each picture.
3. Play the tape .pausing after each sentence to have Ss repeat.
4. Put Ss into four groups for the roles of Gogo, Jenny, Tony and Mrs. Green.
5. Encourage group

Step3. Drilling
1. Demonstrate this activity first .put Ss in groups of three.
2. The days in the dialog remain in the same.
Step4. Practice
1. Put Ss into pair’s .Each pair needs to mix their sets of Ss cards.
