9、ly responsibility,and both stories are set in isolated small towns. However,historians of the two countries record history in very different ways.US scholars focus on objectiveness (客觀性) and accuracy,strictly separating views from facts;Chinese historians,on the other hand,believe the viewpoints of

10、 historians are part of history,as they will always shape the moral standards of later generations.I think both ways have their advantages—a view most of my Hotchkiss teachers probably don’t like! My love for literature has certainly helped my writing in a foreign language.To some extent,I am able
