1、一、教案背景:
現(xiàn)在由于環(huán)境的惡化,人類的亂捕濫獵,各種野生動物的生存正在面臨著各種各樣的威脅。近100年,物種滅絕的速度已超過了自然滅絕速度的100倍,現(xiàn)在每天都有100多種生物從地球上消失。我國也已經(jīng)有10多種哺乳類動物滅絕,還有20多種珍稀動物面臨滅絕。而它們的滅絕會導致許多可被用于制造新藥的分子歸于消失,還會導致許多有助于農(nóng)作物戰(zhàn)勝惡劣氣候的基因歸于消失,甚至引起新的瘟疫,由此所造成的損失是我們永遠也無法挽回的。因此,通過本節(jié)課的學習,希望能讓學生懂得保護野生動物的重要性。要知道,其實保護生物鏈條,保護生態(tài)平衡就是保護人類自己。

三、教材分析:
1、教學內(nèi)容:
Join in 六年級上冊Unit Three Animals in danger第二課時,這部分主要學習兩篇文章: ‘Save China’s tigers’ and ‘The snow leopard’里面的新句型和單詞如:There were South China Tigers about two million years ago;There is one big problem: people kill snow leopards and sell their beautiful fur,
3、 etc. 以及讓學生通過學習,明白生態(tài)平衡的重要性,從而懂得保護野生動物,保護環(huán)境。
2、教學目標:
A. 能讀懂‘Save China’s tigers’ and ‘The snow leopard’這兩篇文章。
B. 能流利地讀出新詞, 如:million, few, between, South China Tiger, difficult, see, problem, kill, etc.
C. 能運用所學知識,用英語簡單描述一下自己所喜歡的動物。
3、教學重、難點:
A. 能讀懂課文,并能聽、說、認讀單詞million, South China Tiger, few
4、, left, between, difficult, problem, kill, sell, 以及新句型South China Tigers are the most precious of all tigers./ But today there are very few left./ It is very difficult to see snow leopard, etc。
B. 能朗讀課文,并運用所學知識,描述自己喜歡的動物。
四、教學方法:
本課時主要是運用任務型的教學方法進行教學,鞏固練習部分也會有相應的教學游戲作為輔助。
五、教學過程:
Step 1 Warm-up

A. Let’s sing: The alphabet rock. (學生邊唱邊做動作)
B. Free talk:
T: I like animals. My favourite animals are dogs. Because dogs are lovely. What about you? What’s favourite animals? And why?
Ss: I like…. Because they are …..(如果部分內(nèi)容不能用英語說出來,可以用中文回答)

A. T:Look, this

教師出示幾組句子讓學生猜,(這是其中一組)如:It lives in China. It’s black and white. Its favourite food is bamboo. (panda).
Step 4 Consolidation
Group work: Save the wild animals. 拯救野生動物
以5人一個小組為單位,畫出一種珍貴的動物,并運用所學知識寫寫為什么這種動物珍貴或瀕臨絕種,因此呼吁人們要保護野生動物。

六、教學反思:
這課時主要是以任務型教學貫穿整個課堂,學生帶著問題進行閱讀,這讓學生在閱讀時有所目標,就會閱讀得更加細致。在解答問題的過程中進行新知識的教授,也要比直接出示新內(nèi)容的效果強得多,因為學生要得知自己的答案是否正確,就會更認真地去學習新知識,學生由‘要我學’變成‘我要學’。這樣老師就不用擔心學生的紀律問題了。一節(jié)課下來,學生對這課時的知識掌握得比較理想
其實,教師在英語教學實踐中,完全不必拘泥于某種程式,而應深刻領悟每一種教學方法的內(nèi)涵、實質(zhì),創(chuàng)造性地設計符合自己教學實際的方法、模式。設合自己的,才是最好的
