Lesson 29: Our Ambitions and Dreams
一.教材分析:
1. 單元及課文分析
This unit will focus on discussing the students’ futures. Students will begin to explore their likes, dislikes, strengths and weaknesses in terms of future careers. They will begin to form ideas
2、and opinions about their futures and what they hope to accomplish. They will learn about different professions, job options and identify what their goals are for the future and what steps they will need to take to achieve those goals.
2.教學目標
語言技能:掌握描述理想的詞匯與語句,并就自己的理想進行簡單介紹。
掌握詞匯:fisherman, pol
3、iceman, artist, choice, strict, punish
接觸詞匯:ambition, path
短語和句型:She is very strict but nice.
情感態(tài)度:
通過對課文的學習使孩子們樹立遠大理想,認識到立足現(xiàn)在才會有美好的未來。
3.教學重點:了解不同人的理想,并利用閱讀后所獲取的信息來進行寫作。
教學難點:根據(jù)所學知識,準確恰當?shù)赜糜⒄Z描述自己的理想。
4.學習策略:鼓勵學生通過觀察、模仿、體驗、探究、展示等方式學習與合作學習。

Step 1. Class O

I. Describe a photo(About 2 minutes)
Show a photo of David and try to describe it.
【設計思路:通過對圖片的描述,讓學生初步了解關于理想的表達方式,并接觸本課詞匯。通過情境學習新詞,讓學生在語境中掌握知識,便于學生識記?!?
II. Brainstorming (About 3 minutes)
Let the students write down phrases which they can think about the jobs below.

Teacher:Today we will go on talking about our ambitions and dreams.
And then show the title of this lesson---Our Ambitions and Dreams.( Write Our Ambitions and D

First please listen carefully and try to answer the questions.

Step 3. Read (About 10 minutes)
1) Read Lesson 29 silently and try to find out the answers to the questions.
