10、ass on和pass表傳遞的用法
pass sth. on to sb.表示連續(xù)性動作的傳遞,其中on是副詞,表“繼續(xù)”。sth.為名詞時,可放在on前或on后,若sth.為代詞時,只能放在on前。
pass sb. sth.=pass sth. to sb. 表示一次性動作傳遞。

◆ suppose的用法
suppose 用作及物
11、動詞,意為“假定;假設(shè)”。還可意為“認為,猜想”。
1.suppose﹢that 從句,表示“猜測,假定”。that 可以省略,若為否定句,和think ,believe等動詞的用法一樣,應(yīng)該否定前移。如:
I suppose that he will come back tomorrow.(我認為明天他會回來。)
I don’t suppose that he will come back tomorrow.(我認為明天他不會回來。)
2.習慣表達:Yes, I suppose so. No, I don’t suppose so.或No, I suppose not.
