Unit 4 What’s the best movie theater?

一、教學目標:
1. 語言知識目標:
1) 能掌握以下單詞:theater, comfortable, seat, screen, close, ticket, worst,
能掌握以下句型:

2) 能了解以下語法: 形容詞、副詞最高級的構成形式;

三、教學過程
Step 1:展示教學目標:

1. 了解形容詞、副詞最高級的構成方法和用法
Step 2: Lead-in
1. 向學生們介紹一座大
3、家都很熟悉的電影院,談論自己對這座建筑物的感受。從而引出本課時中的一些重要單詞:comfortable seats, big screens, best sound, cheap, new movies, close to home, buy tickets quickly, popular…
2. 學生們聽老師的介紹,看幻燈片,并學習記憶這些生詞。

1. 個人自讀,記憶單詞.Look at the pictures and chart
2.小組互相檢查讀、理解詞匯的情況.Ss di

3. 試著理解1b部分形容詞的結構及意義:the biggest,the best,the most comfortable
形容詞最高級的用法:形容詞最高級用于兩個以上的人和物進行比較, 其結構形式為:
主語+謂語(系動詞)+the+形容詞最高級+名詞+表示范圍的短語或從句。
She is?the best student??in?her class. 她是班上最好的學生。

最高級形式的構成:
(1)單音節(jié)詞和部分雙音節(jié)詞在原級后加-est構成,具體情況如下:
①單音節(jié)詞及部分雙音節(jié)詞在詞尾后加-est。
great--greatest clever--cleverest
②以e結尾的單
7、詞,在詞尾后加.st。nice--nicest fine--finest
③以輔音字母’y結尾的單詞,把y變?yōu)閕,再加-est。
happy--happiest heavy--heaviest
④重讀閉音節(jié),雙寫最后的輔音字母,再加-est。
hot--hottest big--biggest
(2)絕大多數(shù)雙音節(jié)和多音節(jié)形容詞前面加most構成最高級。
important--most important interesting---most interesting
beautiful--most beautiful popular--most

difficult---most difficult creative--most creative
boring--most boring expensive--most expensive
(3)不規(guī)則變化
少數(shù)形容詞(和副詞)的比較級及最高級變化不規(guī)則,我們要熟記。
good/well-~better---best bad/ill/badly-~worse--worst
many/much-+more--+most little---less---~least

4. Listening
1. T: Tell Ss to read the sentences in the chart. Make sure they know the meaning of the sentences.
2. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and match the statement with the right movie theaters.
3. Play the recording again. Check th
