Lesson 18 The Mystery Writer
◆ 教材分析
本課是北師大版《初中英語(yǔ)》八年級(jí)下冊(cè)教材Unit6 Lesson18,作為本單元的第三課時(shí),基于本單元Detectives的話題,本課介紹了英國(guó)著名女偵探小說(shuō)家Agatha Christie一生的主要成就以及她塑造的主要人物。幫助學(xué)生了解Agatha Christie這位高產(chǎn)作家,激發(fā)學(xué)生課后去閱讀其作品的興趣。
本課為人物傳記,主要介紹了兩點(diǎn)的內(nèi)容:Agatha Christie寫作上的成就以及她塑造的兩個(gè)典型的人物:偵探Hercule Poirot 和偵探 Miss
2、 Marple。在閱讀教學(xué)中,可以幫學(xué)生梳理出兩條脈絡(luò),一條是根據(jù)時(shí)間順序,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生了解Agatha Christie一生的成就; 另外一條是其塑造的兩名偵探,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生發(fā)現(xiàn)其塑造不同人物的特點(diǎn)。 因?yàn)楸菊n文章較長(zhǎng),內(nèi)容對(duì)學(xué)生來(lái)說(shuō)不容易,而且沒有語(yǔ)法內(nèi)容,所以本課的教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)將分為兩個(gè)課時(shí)。第一課時(shí)主要依據(jù)第一條脈絡(luò)。重點(diǎn)讓學(xué)提取出Agatha Christie一生在寫作上的成就,本課難點(diǎn)是讓學(xué)生可以總結(jié)出Agatha Christie是什么樣的人。并為學(xué)生推薦Agatha Christie相關(guān)作品。
