The teachers and classmates (praise) my designs. 三、語法復(fù)習(xí) 1. 我們用“because”來引導(dǎo)原因狀語從句,這個(gè)從句是表示句中動(dòng)作發(fā)生的原因。如: I didn’t go to school yesterday because I was ill. 我昨天沒去上學(xué),因?yàn)槲疑×恕? Because it was raining, we had to stay
30、at home. 因?yàn)橄掠辏覀冎缓么诩依铩? Because表示動(dòng)詞發(fā)生的直接原因,語氣很強(qiáng),常用來回答why引導(dǎo)的疑問句,如: ——Why didn’t he go with us today? ——Because he was too tired. 2. 我們也可以用since和as引導(dǎo)原因狀語從句,只不過這兩個(gè)詞的語氣比because要弱,since和as的用法大體相同,表示附帶說明的“大家已知的原因”,since的意思是“既然、由于、因?yàn)椤?,表示已知的、顯然的理由,較正式,多位于句首。 如:Since you are free, you’d better tidy your
