Step 1 Greetings and warming up

Step 2 Presentation

2. Pairwork

Step 3 Pre-reading
1. Show the pictures of the talent shows on the screen: The Voice of China, China’s Got Talent,
American Idol, America’s Got Talent.
All the shows have one thing in common.
All kinds of people can join these shows.
2. Prediction:
Let the students try to predict “What’s the passage mainly about?” according to the title and the pictures given.
Step 4 Fast-reading
Task 1: Read the passage quickly and silently, and then finish the two small tasks.
1) Find the answer to the question:

2) Read and match.
