look into此處是“觀察”。還有“朝里看;調(diào)查;瀏覽(書籍、資料等)” 的意思。

could, would都是表推測的情態(tài)動詞。其所指時間幾乎總是“現(xiàn)在”,說話人的主觀看法總是以現(xiàn)在時間為基點的。
eg. I love to travel, and it would be fun to fly an airplane.
我喜歡旅行,開飛機旅行會很有趣。
I want to be a boss and manage a big pany. I could make a lot of money.
我想當(dāng)老板管理一家大公司。我會賺很多錢。
可能性大小,一
10、般 might最低,must最高,由低到高的順序:might (可能) → may (可能) → could (可能) → can (可能) → should (應(yīng)該會) → ought to (必然) → would (會) → will (會) → must (一定)。
說話人推測的事件所發(fā)生的時間,要根據(jù)不定式所采取的形式而定,可以是現(xiàn)在時間和過去時間,也可以是將來時間。一般,情態(tài)動詞之后的不定式若不是完成式,則表示現(xiàn)在時間或?qū)頃r間。
e.g. He must be there.
他一定在那里。
Our team might win the race.

He must be working at the office.
他一定正在辦公室里工作。
doubt意為“懷疑;不相信”,既可用作名詞,也可用作動詞。
doubt用作名詞時,常用于句型“There is no doubt + that引導(dǎo)的從句”,意為“毫無疑問……”。
e.g. There is no doubt that we will win the match.?
毫無疑問我們會贏得這場比賽。
doubt用作及物動詞時,后面可跟名詞、代詞和從句等。
e.g. — Why do you doubt his words??

在否定句和疑問句中,doubt后多跟由 that?引導(dǎo)的從句。

在肯定句中,doubt后通常跟由 if / w

as for 至于;關(guān)于
e.g. As for the thief, he was caught by the police.
至于那個小偷,他被警察抓住了。
As for my achievement, I have much to say.
關(guān)于我的成就,我有很多要說的。
a lot of 意為“很多”, a lot意為“很;非?!薄? lots of

a lot of可用來修飾可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù)或不可數(shù)名詞 ;a lot可用來修飾動詞。
e.g. There are a lot of books in our school library.?
我們學(xué)校圖書館有許多書。
We have a lot of time to make our plan.
我們有很多的時間來制定我們的計劃。
Do you wear your new watch a lot?
你常戴你的新手表嗎?
