Step 1
Introduce the concept of “heroes” by asking Ss questions.
1. Who is your hero / heroine?
2. Who do you admire most in your heart?
Step 2
Present pictures of some famous people: astronauts of Shenzhou 10, Con
4、fucious, Matin Luther King, Madam Curie, Qian Xuesen, Bill Gates, Michael Jackson, Zhang Lili.
Step 3
Work in pairs. Let Ss look at the picture of Deng Yaping and talk about her.
Step 4
Activity 2. Listen and choose the correct answers.

Listen and read
Answer some questions.
