A homepage for Dong fang International School.
一、學(xué)習(xí)目標(biāo):
幫助學(xué)生陳述理由;
描述一所學(xué)校;
幫助學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)as引導(dǎo)的原因狀語(yǔ)從句;
(一)基礎(chǔ)目標(biāo):
1. 詞匯練習(xí)及重要短語(yǔ)的正確使用
2. 語(yǔ)法練習(xí):as引導(dǎo)的原因狀語(yǔ)從句。
(二)發(fā)展目標(biāo):
1.結(jié)合課文內(nèi)容復(fù)習(xí)以前所學(xué)知識(shí),
2.能正確使用as引導(dǎo)的原因狀語(yǔ)從句和一些常用句型。
3.能用學(xué)過(guò)知識(shí)能完成書(shū)面表達(dá)?! ?

(1).Look at the poster and complete the sentences. Let the students do it by themselves on their books,and ask one to show his answers
3、 to the class. The answers are:
a. It was set up in 1954.
b. It consists of thirty classrooms,three computer rooms,three Language Labs and
ten teachers’ offices.
c. It offers the following basic courses: Chinese, Maths, English, Social Science, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Science, Life Scienc
4、e, Technology, Music, Physical Education and Fine Arts.
4. How to describe a school.
Read the text, then fill in the blanks. Let students do it by themselves and the teacher moves around the classroom,give them the necessary help. Check the answers:set up; best schools; computer rooms ; language
5、 labs; facilities.

3. GRAMMAR
Read the sentences on the book. Then tell the students we are going to lea
6、rn the the adverbial clause of reason (as), then answer the questions on the book.
As =Since 作"既然"、"由于"解,引導(dǎo)原因狀語(yǔ)從句,常用來(lái)表示已為人們所知或顯而易見(jiàn)的原因或理由。如: As he’s been ill for ages, I will help him.
As / Since you're not feeling well, you may stay at home.
As he wasn't ready , we went without him.

7、r 與as的區(qū)別.
1.since較as意味略強(qiáng)。它們都可以表示較明顯的或?qū)Ψ揭阎脑颉?煞謩e譯作“既然”和“由于”。since和as從句一般放在主句之前。例如:
Since his method doesn't work, let's try yours.既然他的方法不行,我們就試試你的吧。
As I didn't know how to do it, I asked the teacher.由于我不知道怎樣做,就問(wèn)了老師。
2.for是并列連詞,位于兩句之中,連接并列的分句。當(dāng)for表示因果關(guān)系時(shí),可與because換用,但在for前面須用逗號(hào)。例如:
You coul
8、dn't have seen him, because/for he wasn't there.你不可能見(jiàn)到他,因?yàn)楫?dāng)時(shí)他不在那里。
for除此之外了表示因果關(guān)系外,還可以述說(shuō)對(duì)主句中的事實(shí)或看法的解釋。例如:
It will rain, for it's getting dark, 要下雨了,因?yàn)樘鞖庠絹?lái)越暗了。

Tell the students to read the passage carefully,and think it over,then complete it. First ask the students talk about his or her answers with classmates.
