三、教學(xué)目標:
本課時要求學(xué)生理解并運用新單詞good, bad, tasty, yucky, snowy, spicy, Thailand, Canada。以及新句型Where were you yesterday? I was in….What was the food like? It was spicy and tasty.等詢問和表達過去的一些行為的話題
二、教學(xué)重點,難點:
1. 重點:正確理解并熟練運用
2、本課新單詞和句型
2. 難點:能夠正確運用一般過去時詢問生活中的一些事件并能正確回答。

四、教學(xué)過程:
Step 1. Greetings and Lead-in.
T: Good morning, boys and girls.
S: Good morning, sir.
T: Sit down, please. Today, I am so happy, because I got a picture from my friend, John. Look! Is it a beautiful picture? ( S: Yes.)
T: O
3、h, There is a topic on the picture. Let’s say it. OK?
S: Yes. “Unit 5 A circus in the Park, Vocabulary and Target.”
(設(shè)計意圖:導(dǎo)入課題,讓學(xué)生形成感觀印象。)
(展示Canada和China的圖片,并提問。)
Step 2. Presentation.
1.學(xué)習(xí)新詞Canada。
T: Look! This is my friend, John. We call him ‘Uncle John’。Can you guess? Where is John f

T: Yes, he is from Canada. Do you know something about Canada?(展示Canada的圖片,并讓學(xué)生朗讀。)
(設(shè)計意圖:通過提問和圖片展示學(xué)習(xí)詞匯Canada,讓學(xué)生更容易學(xué)習(xí)新詞,也為后面的學(xué)習(xí)做鋪墊。)
2. 學(xué)習(xí)新詞snowy 和tasty。
T:Do you know something about Canada? Let’s look at the pictures and answer my questions.
(1) What’s the weather like in
5、 Canada? S: It’s snowy and cold.
(2) What’s the weather like in Taishan today? S: It’s cloudy and cool.
(3) What’s the food like in Canada? S: It’s tasty.
( T: Yes, it’s tasty. And, it’s very cold in Canda, so they like the cold food in Canada, too.)
(4) What about Taisha

( T: Yes, it’s tasty, too. And, it’s hot, not cold.)
(設(shè)計意圖:通過圖片對Canada進行介紹,以讓學(xué)生了解更多的語言知識背景,也為后面的語言輸出做好準備和鋪墊。)
3.學(xué)習(xí)新詞和新句型。

(展示圖片,并讓學(xué)生跟讀。特別注意:Island)

4. 回答問題。
(1) What was the weather like in Thailand? S: It was sunny and hot.
(2) What was the food like? S: It was spicy and tasty.
(學(xué)習(xí)新詞:spicy 和tast.)
(設(shè)計意圖:通過WeChat情景學(xué)習(xí)新詞匯和新句型,使學(xué)生能把詞匯與句型相融合進行學(xué)習(xí),增加
8、學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)趣味,也為下面的學(xué)習(xí)做鋪墊。)
Step 3. Practice.
1. 朗讀單詞. 2. 選擇正確的答案.
(設(shè)計意圖:通過朗讀單詞,加強鞏固新詞匯的學(xué)習(xí),并進行糾正;通過練習(xí),讓學(xué)生對新詞匯的運用理解更深刻。)
3. 聽音, 回答問題. (內(nèi)容是Target的對話.) 4. 聽音,配對練習(xí).(內(nèi)容是Practice 1聽力練習(xí).)
(設(shè)計意圖:聽音、模仿朗讀和回答問題的方式,讓學(xué)生更好地掌握Target的知識內(nèi)容與本節(jié)的新句型;也通過聽音配對練習(xí),對所學(xué)知識進行鞏固。)

5. 填空練習(xí). 6. Play a game. ( the Bang Bang Game.) 7. 根據(jù)圖片寫短文.

(設(shè)計意圖:通過填空練習(xí)來進行詞匯使用的鞏固與檢測;通過游戲加強學(xué)生對新單詞的辯讀能力;最后進行書寫輸出,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的輸出能力。)
Step 4. Summary.
(設(shè)計意圖:通過短文方式進行小結(jié),培養(yǎng)學(xué)生“寓詞于句中”的知識運用能力。)
Step 5. Homework.
Write a Moment on Wechat with pictures, and share it to your teacher or your friends.
(設(shè)計意圖:布置作業(yè),檢測學(xué)生對知識的掌握程度,并培養(yǎng)學(xué)生寫的輸出能力。)
