Friends shouldn’t wear the same clothes. They are the same as my friend’s clothes. Help the students to understand what the real friendship is. Teaching and learning steps: Step 1. Review T: Hello, everyone. I need your help. Xxx, could you give me some advice? S1: What’ s the matter ? T:Yesterday evening I argued with my friend。What should I do? S1: You should say you’re sorry. T: Maybe you’re right. But it’s not easy. What else? S2: You could call her up. T: It’s an idea, but I don’t want to talk about it on the phone. What else? Warming up and Leading in T: Look at the picture. Now she has a problem. What’s wrong ? S1: Her clothes are out of style. T: There is an old saying: Clothes make the man. What should she do? S1: She should buy some new clothes. T: My friends has a clothes store, There are many different kinds of clothes in it. Write VI if the statement is very important to you, write I if the statement is somewhat important to you, and write NI if it is not important. Talk about the answers with the class. People call in for help with a problem and other people call up with advice. They will talk about one of these problems. Listen for the first time:What’s Erin’s opinion clothes?
