1.Read, match and color
1) Reviewing the structure. My name’s.., using masks and name cards.
2) Ask the children to practice reading sentences like My name’s…by using drill cards.
3) Ask children to read the sentences in the 4 speech bubbles and match them with characters who have said them. Ask children to draw a line between the speech bubbles and the characters.

2.Let’s chant
1) Use pictures or real objects and review the following words: ant, apple, baby, ball and bike. Make sure the children can say these things when given a picture of a real object.
2) Use flashcards and have children practice reading these words.
3) Play the tape. Children repeat or clap hands.
4) Put pictures of Ant, apple, baby, ball and bike on the blackboard. Ask children to point to these pictures when listening to the tape again.

3.Clapping names
1) Model the children’s English names for them as I say each name aloud, clap hands together once for each syllable Example: My name’s An-ge-la.(Three claps)
2) Have the children repeat all their names after me clapping as they do so.
3) Review What’s your name? My name’s (Ben). Have the children repeat the questions and answer after me in a class drill. Clapping along with the names.
4) Star a speech chain, so that the children can each ask the question and sound out their names individually.
5) If time allow, repeat the procedure, substituting the names of the characters in this book.
