6. B。in a word意為“總之;一句話;總而言之”;in general意為“大體上;一般地”;in all意為“總共”;in total意為“總共”。 7. A。sig
8. B。what if這里指“如果…… 就好了”;as if意為“好像”;even if意為“即使”。
11. C。attitude to / towards指“對……
12. C。keep in touch with意為“保持聯(lián)絡”;within reach of意為“離得很近;在范圍內(nèi)”;out of touch with意為“失去聯(lián)系;不再了解情況”;out of reach of意為“夠不著”。 13. A。 Thats all right
I hope you like it指期望對方喜歡,而事實是對方的確很喜歡,所以選A。 14. A。 15. C。常用sb / sth be likely to do或its likely +從句,表示“可能”;certain表示“確定的”;probable后常跟that從句表示“很有可能”;be sure to do sth指“一定;務必去做某事”。 16. A。
、)的意思,更不是lead(領導)、gain(獲得)的意思。 17. C?! depend on指“依靠;依賴”;receive指“收到;接到”;benefit from指“受益于”。 19. B。 20. A。
30. A。 less than指“小于”;more than指“多于”;no more than指“只是”;no less than指“正如”。 31. C。 句意為“突然意識到,我們將不得不住進我們自己建造的房子”,這里指一種醒悟,所以不能用promise(允許)、decide(決定)、consider(考慮;照顧)。 32. D。 go back指“回去”;throw away指“扔掉;丟棄”;throw off指“扔開;脫掉”;go ahead指“前進”。 33. B。 34. A。
