8、或兩個(gè)以上的名詞充當(dāng)時(shí)，謂語動(dòng)詞be要跟它相鄰的那個(gè)名詞的數(shù)一致。如： There is a man at the door門旁邊有一個(gè)人。 There are two dogs and a cat under the table桌子下面有兩只狗和一只貓。4Ill show you where it is我指給你在哪兒。 show既可用作及物動(dòng)詞，又可用作不及物動(dòng)詞，還可以用作名詞，有多種含義?，F(xiàn)將一常見用法作出歸納。 show用作不及物動(dòng)詞，有“顯現(xiàn)；顯出；露出”等意思；用作及物動(dòng)詞，有以下含義： (1)意為“給看；出示；顯示”，后接雙賓語。如： Will you kindly show m

9、e that coat over there?請把那兒的上衣拿給我看看好嗎？ Show your tickets，please請出示車票。 (2)意為“帶領(lǐng)；引領(lǐng)”，習(xí)慣搭配有show sbtoshow sb. around.等。如： PIease show me to your school請帶我到你們學(xué)校去。 Uncle Wang is going to show us around his farm王叔叔要領(lǐng)我們參觀他的農(nóng)場。 (3)意為“(向人)說明；表明；指示；放映；展出”等。如： Your homework shows that you are careful從你的作業(yè)上可以看出，

10、你很認(rèn)真。 show me the way，please請給我指路。 此外，show還可用作名詞，意為“展覽；陳列；演出”。如： There is going to be a picture show in our school我們學(xué)校將舉辦一次畫展。 Her mother is in show business她的母親從事演藝事業(yè)。 5No noiseplease! 請別喧嘩! “No+名詞動(dòng)名詞，常用于標(biāo)語中，表示“禁止”(一般在公共場所使用)，常見的有： No smoking! 禁止吸煙! No parking! 禁止停車! No swimming! 禁止游泳! No spitting!

11、 禁止吐痰! 6I said we would meet at a quarter to three我說我們在兩點(diǎn)四十五分見面的。 主句是過去時(shí)，從句為過去將來時(shí)，would為will的過去式。過去將來時(shí)表示在過去某個(gè)時(shí)間看，將要發(fā)生的動(dòng)作或狀態(tài)，多用于賓語從句或間接引語之中。其結(jié)構(gòu)是：would(should)+動(dòng)詞原形或was (were)going to+動(dòng)詞原形。如： Mary said she would go to the school again瑪麗說她將再一次去那所學(xué)校。 I didnt know how he would go我不知道他會(huì)怎么去。 7 shes half an
