一、教學(xué)目標與要求
1、知識與能力目標
(1)學(xué)生會談?wù)搶W(xué)習(xí)成績和表現(xiàn)等。
(2)認讀單詞:quite,good at,say,try,fast。

She’s quite good at…

二、教學(xué)重點與難點
重點:掌握新單詞,了解新句型,在此基礎(chǔ)上理解課文內(nèi)容。并能簡單的利用句型描述他人各個科目的成績。
難點:try的第三人稱單數(shù);quite和quiet的區(qū)別。

本課單詞卡片,VCD,PPT
四、教學(xué)過程
Step1: Warm up
Review the adjective words with the cards.
Free talk: S1: I’m very naughty. But I’m very clever.
T: Is S1 naughty in class

Ss: Yes, he is
T: Is he quiet?
Ss: No, he isn’t…,
Step2: Presentation and practice
1.出示一張成績單,數(shù)學(xué)是100分。
T:This student is very good at Maths.
板書:good at.幫助學(xué)生理解意思。
2.T:Are you good at Maths?
S1:Yes, I am.
S2: No, I’m not.
3. T: How about Lingling?Is she good at M
4、aths? Let’s watch the video.
Play the video and have the students answer the question.
T: Is she good at Maths?
Ss: Yes, she is. She is good at Maths,
T: Look at your paper. What about her English? What about her Science?
Now let’s listen to the radio and finish the report.
Ss: quite good.

Ss: She tries hard at Science.

Step3: Practice
1. Help the student finish the report. Then play the VCD, and have the students repeat the text.
2. Group work: Have some students retell Lingling’s report.
Step4:Consolidation and extension
1. Have the students do the exercise 1 in Activity Book Unit 2.
First, listen to the tape, say the subjects.
Second, finish the report.
Third, ask and answer.
