New words Teach new words of the lesson, pay attention to the following words. suddenly→形容詞sudden, careful→反義詞careless, afraid→近義詞scary, strange→stranger, blood→動(dòng)詞bleed Step3. Let’s Do It! Finish Exercise 1 on Page 39. Tell students not to look at the books while

4、listening. Play the tape twice. Then ask students to tell if it is true or false. Step4. Read Read the lesson. Ask students to answer the following questions in groups. Then check answers as a class. 1. What was probably the reason why Jackie fell off the bike? Maybe he rode over a hole in the r
