Pre-task 1. Warming-up Song: Make new friends. 2. Daily Talk: What’s your name? How old are you? What do you do? What can you do? Who is your friend? What is he / she? What has he /she got? Free talk: Introduce your friends. 3. Revision. Fill in the blanks: (1) Tom ______(have) got two bicycles. They ______(be) super. (2) My sister ______(have) a new friend. ______(she) name is Rose. Elicit the text with pictures. T: I have four friends. Look, they’re Lingling, Ted, Winnie and Eric. Lingling is a girl. She’s eight. She’s short. She has short hair. She has a big red ball. 2. Pupils try to introduce Ted, Winnie and Eric. 3. Read the introductions and find the friend. Whose friend is Lingling? Whose friend is Ted? Whose friend is Winnie? Whose friend is Eric? 4. Read after the tape. Pay attention to this sentence: My friend’s a boy . 5. Practise in role. III. Post-task. 1. Talk about your friends according to the text. I have a friend. My friend’s a _______.
