G．Then why not stay there for a longer time? 考向分析 近三年陜西省高考情景對話題體現(xiàn)了“以能力立意命題”的指導(dǎo)思想，突出了英語語言的交際性和真實性，能夠客觀有效地考查考生在真實語境中的交際能力。此題型有如下幾個特點： 1．對話一般不長，大約10至12句，130詞左右。對話之前有些有相關(guān)背景介紹的語句，做題前應(yīng)該認真閱讀這些語句，以了解對話的主題和背景。 2．對話內(nèi)容圍繞某一場景進行，語言放在語境中，對話貼近生活，考查考生運用語言進行情景交際的能力。例如，陜西高考考過旅游度假的場景以及維修手機的場景等。 3．七個選項都是完整的句子，而不是單詞或短語，考生需要從七個選項中選出五個補全對話，另外的兩個選項為干擾項。 4．對話內(nèi)容的上下問答有非常強的邏輯關(guān)系。 5．選項中有3個左右的問句，其余為陳述句，注重交際性的考查。 6．考查內(nèi)容涉及基本的詞匯、句型和習(xí)慣用語，以及文化背景知識和中西方文化的差異。 答題步驟 1．速讀對話，確定情境 做情景對話時，考生應(yīng)首先從整體上把握對話的內(nèi)容大意。跳過空行，根據(jù)已有信息對對話的內(nèi)容進行整體感知，弄清對話發(fā)生的時間、地點、人物、事件等。 2．深入對話，逐句推敲 對內(nèi)容有了整體認識后，就應(yīng)該逐題解決問題。分析上、下文的內(nèi)容，所傳達的信息的意圖、目的及內(nèi)容重心。從整體著手，既要考慮上文的接應(yīng)又要考慮下文的承接，不可“顧上失下”。 3．通讀對話，驗證答案 做完后，通讀對話，注意細節(jié)問題的驗證及檢查。注意英漢差異，及個別詞匯的使用是否恰當(dāng)?shù)皿w。要做到語意清楚流暢，同時符合英語表達習(xí)慣。 技法指導(dǎo) 1．通過速讀對話，弄清對話的語境及內(nèi)容 完成本題時，學(xué)生對語境的熟悉是十分重要的，即把握對話的具體時間、地點、人物以及之間的關(guān)系。在不同的場合，語言表達的方式和內(nèi)容，談話的態(tài)度等就會有所不同。如在餐館、圖書館、車站、機場、商店、醫(yī)院等不同的地點，都有各自的語言表達方式。因而，在做本題時，應(yīng)在理解全篇對話內(nèi)容的基礎(chǔ)上，準確把握語言環(huán)境，把自己置身于語境之中，理解雙方的談話意圖。 2．前后照應(yīng)，注意對話的“鏈條” 假如我們把對話比作環(huán)環(huán)相扣的“鏈條”，那么由于空行的設(shè)置，“鏈條”就幾乎脫節(jié)了。要想把脫節(jié)的“鏈條”連接起來，就將把握上下文信息。做題時，可根據(jù)上句推斷下句信息，或通過下句推斷上句信息。瞻前顧后，雙管齊下，抓住對話脈絡(luò)，使對話不“斷鏈”。如： （xx陜西高考，情景對話第3空） Tom：What a pity! __3__ Cathy：Yes，please.Can you suggest any good reference books? 剖析：根據(jù)下文Can you suggest any...？得知Cathy需要幫助，所以選擇“F：Anything I can do for you？”。 3．注意英美人的風(fēng)俗習(xí)慣 在做題時，要特別注意西方民族風(fēng)情的“五不問”。即：不問年齡、婚姻狀況、收入、住址和經(jīng)歷。因為這些都是個人隱私，詢問隱私是一種非常失禮的行為。因此在補全對話中凡有“Have you eaten？”“Where are you going？”等這一類句子都應(yīng)避免使用。 誤區(qū)警示 1．忽視對話主題錯誤 有些考生沒有整體把握語意，主題不清，斷章取義。如： （xx全國高考Ⅱ，61題） W：Hi，John. M：Hi，Lucy，__61__ W：Yes.Im required to tell a story in English before the lesson begins. M：Oh，I see.__62__ W：Youre right.I need to practice on the stage before they all e. ... A．Glad to see you. F．Youre going to school rather early today. 剖析：該題易錯選A項。此對話主要討論“為課前講故事作準備”，由于W要提前準備而早到校，因此F項既呼應(yīng)了下文，也同時與全文主題相呼應(yīng)。 2．忽略上下文信息錯誤 在補全對話這類題目中，通常所設(shè)空為上下銜接內(nèi)容。因此在解題中關(guān)注上下文的提示是很關(guān)鍵的。如： （xx陜西高考6題） Jerry：Really？That sounds exciting.__6__ Mike：At my friends house.He invited me to stay there for as long as I wanted. ... B．It must be cool.
