Unit6 I’m watching TV. I.教學設計分析(單元教材分析和學生已有水平分析) 本單元的中心話題是圍繞描述人民正在從事的活動開展,讓學生學會談論自己或他人正在做什么,并以這一主題引出現(xiàn)在進行時的特殊疑問句及答語,現(xiàn)在進行時的一般疑問句及答語和否定句等語言功能,學習一些描述人物活動的動詞及短語。學生已經學了一些動詞和動詞短語,為目標語言的學習提供了語言基礎。話題與學生的實際生活密切相關,學生比較感興趣,易于激發(fā)學生運用簡單的英語進行交流。 New languages: ---What are you doing? ---Im watching TV. ---Whats he/she doing? ---He/Shes reading. ---What are they doing ? ---Theyre watching TV. ---Is he reading? ---Yes, he is./ No, he isn’t. Section A 1 (1a-1c) I. Teaching aims 1. Master the key words: newspaper, use, soup, wash. To learn to use present progressive tense 3. To learn to use What questions 4. To learn to talk about what people are doing 5. To help Ss use the target language in natural speech. II. Key points 1. Leading-in 1. Greet the Ss and check the homework. 2. Ask and answer. Step 2. Presentation 1. (Show some pictures and phrases on the screen and ask students to match them.) watch TV, clean, read a newspaper, listen to a CD, talk on the phone..., use the puter, make soup, wash the dishes, exercise 2. Work on 1a. Ss read the activities and look at the pictures. Then match the activities with pictures. 3. Check the answers with the Ss. Step 3. Listening 1. T: What are Jenny, John, Dave and Mary doing? Now let’s listen to the tape, find out the right activities from 1a. 2. Play the recording for the Ss twice. 3. Ss listen to the recording and write the numbers from 1a and plete the sentences. 4. Ask the Ss to speak out what the person is doing in the pictures given by teachers. Step 4. Consolidation Pair work 1. Ask the Ss to read the conversations in 1c with a partner. Then look at the pictures in 1a. and conversations about other person in the picture. 2. Listen to the conversations and match the answers with the questions. (Play the recording for the first time, students only listen carefully. Then, listen to the recording again, and match the answers with the questions. ) Check the answers. 2. Work on 2b. Let Ss read the conversation in 2b first. Then play the recording for the Ss twice.
