Period 1 一、Organization: 1 Sing a song. 2 Greetings. 二、Revision: 三、Presentation and practice ]Step1, Hold up your mask of Bobby Bear and say, “Here is a new friend. His name is Bobby Bear.” Say, “Hi, Bobby!” Have Ss greet Bobby in the same way. Step2, Talk about the story. Have Ss find pages 62 and 63. Ask these questions about the pictures. Picture 1: “Who is at the park?” Picture 2/3: “Who does Bobby Bear meet first?” Picture 4: “Who does Bobby Bear meet next?” Picture 5: “Who are those people under the tree?” Picture 6: “Who is Ken?” Picture 7: “Who is Kate?” Picture 10: “Who does Bobby show us?” Step3, Say to class, “Now we are going to hear what the characters said.” Have Ss look at the pictures as the tape is played. Play the tape again, pausing at each new picture. Have Ss repeat the words before you move on to the next picture. Divide the class into three groups, one for Bobby Bear, one for Tommy, and one for Ken. Play the tape one line at a time. Have each group repeat the dialog for their character. Step4, Choose three Ss to roleplay the dialog in front of the class. Play the tape one line at a time. Each student should repeat his or her line and act it. Go through the story. Step5, Homework. Explain to Ss that you want them to introduce all the characters on page 62 and 63 to their families. 教學(xué)后記:學(xué)生對(duì)新朋友Bobby的加入較感興趣,能對(duì)人物進(jìn)行介紹,復(fù)習(xí)簡單的日常用語時(shí),學(xué)生也能根據(jù)情景來回答。但個(gè)別句子還不能掌握好,如:Ken is her brother. 課后要加強(qiáng)聽說的訓(xùn)練。 Period 2 一、Organization: 1 Sing a song. 2 Greetings. 二、Revision: Who’s he/ she? He’s/ She’s my __. 三、Presentation and practice Step1, Hold up the picture sake of each flashcard in turn. Have Ss name the object on each card. T: This is a __. Use some correct names and some incorrect names. Have Ss answer yes or no. T: This isn’t a __. Step2, Have Ss open their books at page 64 and find the six pictures at the top of the page. Play the first sentence. Then play it again and have Ss point to the correct character as they listen to the tape. Repeat the procedure for the other five pictures. Play the tape again. This time have Ss number the pictures as they hear then sentences. Step3, Ask Ss to look again at the pictures of Ann, Ken and Kate at the top of the page. Display your copy of the page. Point to the first picture and ask: “Who’s she?” Elicit the correct sentence, She’s Ann. or She’s his sister. etc. Repeat the procedure for the pictures of Ken, Kate and Mocky. Point to the picture of Ann. Elicit the answer. Repeat the procedure for the other pictures. Step4, Draw Ss’ attention to the pictures at the bottom of the page. Display your copy of the page. Point to Ann and then read aloud what she is saying. Point to each word as you read it. Now point to the picture of Ann’ father. Repeat the procedure for Mocky’s sentence. Read the sentences again. This time have Ss repeat them after you. Encourage them to point to the appropriate characters while they so. Have Ss repeat the sentences after you, using their own books and pointing to the appropriate characters. Step5, Explain to Ss that you want then to say the correct sentences when you point to any one of the other family pictures. Make sure they use the appropriate pronouns. Step6, Homework. Display page 65 of your book. Write the missing letter at the beginning of each word and color the pictures. And tell their families the word for each picture. 教學(xué)后記:學(xué)生復(fù)習(xí)起家庭的單詞時(shí)很容易就入手了,學(xué)起來較簡單,對(duì)于家庭成員的介紹都能較熟練地說出。在填完單詞后讓學(xué)生來拼寫單詞,學(xué)生有所進(jìn)步。 Period 3 一、Organization: 1 Sing a song. 2 Greetings. 二、Revision: 三、Presentation and practice Step1, Have Ss stand in a circle and hold up their family pictures. Have each student in turn say his or her English name. And then introduce the neighboring student to the class using the structures. Explain to Ss that you will pick up the pictures one at a time, and that you want them to say “That’s my family.” When you hold up their drawing. Step2, Have Ss open their books and point to the picture at the top of the page. Ask Ss who is holding the picture of his family. Display your copy of the page. Elicit the characters’ names: Ken, Ann, Tommy. Make sure Ss know that the picture is of Ken’s family and Ann’s family because Ann is Ken’s sister. Step3, Have Ss turn to the page 66 in their books. Draw their attention to the bottom half of the page. T: Now we will hear some words. Play the tape of the first three words. Have Ss point with their pencil to the first letter or each word as they hear it. Repeat for the other two rows of words. Play the next section of the tape. Have Ss number the pictures in the order that they hear the words. Step4, Ask the class to recall the letters they have learnt. T: Look at Uncle Booky’s ABC and find the letters you know. Write the letter Ww on the board. Then repeat, “This is the letter Ww. Can you find the word that begins with Ww in Uncle Booky’s ABC?” Check that Ss have found it. Step5, Draw Ss’ attention to the row of pictures beginning with Ww. Play the tape, pointing to the matching picture of each word. Now replay the tape, and have Ss point to the matching pictures in their books. Then let them say the words aloud. Step6, Repeat the procedure that was used to introduce the letter Ww, Xx, Yy and Zz. Step7, Homework. Color the letters.
