2019年三年級(jí)英語(yǔ)下冊(cè)LessonWSomanyants拓展閱讀川教版三起 1) many, much都表示“許多”, many修飾可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù), much修飾不可數(shù)名詞。many, much構(gòu)成的詞組有:too many, too much; so much, so many; a great many(修飾可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù))。 【例如】 There are many peasants working in the field.Did you spend much time on your work? You have made so many mistakes that I even dont know how to correct them.As a student, one should read a great many books which are essential to enriching ones knowledge. 7、針對(duì)數(shù)量提問(wèn)的特殊疑問(wèn)句的基本結(jié)構(gòu)是: How many + 名詞復(fù)數(shù) + are there + 介詞短語(yǔ)? How much + 不可數(shù)名詞 + is there + 介詞短語(yǔ)? Many和Much用法 ①many和much都作“許多”解,但many用于修飾可數(shù)名詞,而much修飾不可數(shù)名詞。例如: 1. China has many oil fields. 中國(guó)有許多油田。 2. In our view, there is much oil here. 在我們看來(lái),這里有許多石油。 ② 代詞many和名詞much用法舉例: 1. Many of the students want to sum up the past experience before going on. 許多學(xué)生(原意為:學(xué)生中間有許多人)要總結(jié)一下過(guò)去經(jīng)驗(yàn)在繼續(xù)干。 2. Much of the waste acid is utilized. 廢酸中大部分被利用了。 ③“much(副詞)+比較級(jí)”作“……得多”解: 1. The sun is much large than the moon. 太陽(yáng)比月亮大得多了。 2. This problem seems much more difficult than that one. 這道題似乎比那道題難得多。 3. We turned back a much larger enemy force. 我們把力量強(qiáng)得多的敵人頂了回去。 ④ 副詞much修飾動(dòng)詞、過(guò)去分詞時(shí)作“十分”解: 1. We all love Beijing very much. 我們大家都非常熱愛(ài)北京。 2. We are much interested in heat utilization. 我們對(duì)熱量利用十分感興趣。 注:上述兩種句子,一般不能用very代替much。 有時(shí)much也可修飾作表語(yǔ)用的形容詞: It is much the same. 差不多相同。 ⑤ many和much的一些常用詞組: many a time 許多次 how many books 多少書(shū) how much water 多少水 as much (many) 同樣多 as much (many) as 像……那么多 倍數(shù)+as much (many) as… ……的……倍(那么多) much less 何況(用于否定) much more 何況(用于肯定) 注1:much和many的比較級(jí)和最高級(jí)都是more和most,分別詳見(jiàn)第337頁(yè)和225頁(yè)。“more(或most)+形容詞或副詞原級(jí)”還分別構(gòu)成比較級(jí)和最高級(jí)。如:more useful較為有用的;most widely 最廣泛地。 注2:“many a+可數(shù)名詞單詞”用法特殊,舉例如下: 1. Many a worker often shows concern for us. (注意謂語(yǔ)用第三人稱單數(shù)形式)許多工人經(jīng)常關(guān)心我們。 2. Many a time have they been to Beijing.(注意Many a time作狀語(yǔ)位于句首時(shí),后面要引起主語(yǔ)、謂語(yǔ)顛倒現(xiàn)象,因?yàn)閙any a time和often近義,often位于句首時(shí)也引起主語(yǔ)、謂語(yǔ)顛倒。)他們?nèi)ミ^(guò)北京多次。 much加不可數(shù)名詞,如much milk many加可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù),如many apples How many加可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù),如How many pears How much加不可數(shù)名詞,如How much water How much也可用于問(wèn)價(jià)錢,如How much are the apples?意思是這些蘋(píng)果多少錢?這是How many與How much的最大區(qū)別 2 many和much的用法: 〔1)many修飾復(fù)數(shù)可數(shù)名詞,表許多; much修飾不可數(shù)名詞,表量或程度。 He has many friends, but few true ones. There hasn’t been much good weather recently. ?。?)many a: many a和many同義,但語(yǔ)氣比較強(qiáng),并且要與單數(shù)名詞及單數(shù)形動(dòng)詞連用。 Many a prisoner has been set free. (=Many prisoners have been set free.) 〔3〕as many和so many均等于the same number of。 前有as, like時(shí), 只用so many。 These are not all the books I have. These are as many more upstairs.
