Unit 4 Road safety 單元教材分析: 本單元圍繞“行路安全”這一話題,呈現(xiàn)了若干行路規(guī)則和安全知識,旨在引導學生樹立正確過馬路的安全知識。這一話題與學生的生活緊密相關(guān),通過如何過馬路的行為指南及車輛的行駛規(guī)則,重點呈現(xiàn)了情態(tài)動詞must及其否定形式mustn’t的用法,在教學過程中聯(lián)系生活實際,鼓勵學生認識更多交通標識,掌握安全知識,做遵守交通規(guī)則的社會公民。 學情分析:1. “行路安全”這一話題貼合學生的生活實際,也是非常重要的一個內(nèi)容。學生對過馬路的交通規(guī)則、紅綠等的具體含義以及車輛的行駛規(guī)則已有一定的知識經(jīng)驗基礎(chǔ)。 2. 本課所重點學習的情態(tài)動詞must及其否定形式mustn’t可以結(jié)合六年級上冊的Unit5,Unit6,Unit7中的can\should等情態(tài)動詞來進行關(guān)于規(guī)定和規(guī)則的表達。 單元目標: 1. 能聽懂、會說、會讀單詞safety, cross, safely, zebra crossing, pavement, look out for, easily, rule, stay 2.能聽懂、會說、會讀、會寫單詞road, must, safe, follow, light 3.能聽懂、會說、會讀、會寫句型和日常交際用語 You must… You must not… 4.能正確使用情態(tài)動詞進行規(guī)則和規(guī)定的表達。 5.初步了解句子中需要重讀和弱讀的單詞,感知英語的節(jié)奏。 6.了解中英兩國不同的道路通行制,體會文化差異。 教學重點: 1. 能聽懂、會說、會讀、會寫句型和日常交際用語 You must… You must not… 2. 能聽懂、會說、會讀、會寫單詞road, must, safe, follow, light 教學難點: 1.正確掌握情態(tài)動詞must及其否定形式mustn’t的用法;must 和can 的區(qū)別。 2. 能聽懂、會說、會讀單詞safety, cross, safely, zebra crossing, pavement, look out for, easily, rule, stay 課時安排: 第一課時:Story time 第二課時:Grammar time& Fun time 第三課時:Sound time&Culture time& Cartoon time 第四課時:Checkout time& Ticking time 第五課時:單元復習及練習 Unit 4 Road safetyStory time (第一課時) 教學目標: 1.在情景中整體理解Story time的內(nèi)容。 2.在 Storytime 的學習過程中掌握有關(guān)道路交通方面的新詞 road, light, zebra crossing, pavement, look out for, easily, rules, follow,體會情態(tài)動詞must及其否定must not 的用法,并能簡單區(qū)分形容詞safe,名詞safety及副詞safely的不同。 3.能用正確的語音語調(diào)朗讀Story time。 4.能理解道路安全知識,嘗試用英語說說道路交通規(guī)則。 5.能牢記過馬路的交通規(guī)則,樹立安全意識。 教學重點: 1.能理解道路安全知識,嘗試用英語說說道路交通規(guī)則。 2.在 Storytime 的學習過程中掌握有關(guān)道路交通方面的新詞 road, light, zebra crossing, pavement, look out for, easily, rules, follow,must,safety,safely。 教學難點: 1. 體會情態(tài)動詞must及其否定must not 的用法,并能簡單區(qū)分形容詞safe,名詞safety及副詞safely的不同。 2.能牢記過馬路的交通規(guī)則,樹立安全意識。 教學過程: Step 1 Pre-reading Teach: road , safe, safety, safely, cross, rules 1.Free talk: T: How do you go to school?How does your mother\father go to work? S: On foot or by bike\bus\car T: 總結(jié) : Every day, we walk or drive on the road. 2.Look at some pictures. (看一些行人、司機圖片) 1)Look and judge. Are they right? Ss: Yes, yes, yes! \No. no, no! 2)T:總結(jié)We must keep safe.\Road safety is very important. 3.Lead-in: T:揭題:Today we are going to talk about “Road safety”. There are many busy roads in the cities. How can we cross the roads safely? To keep safe, we must follow some rules. 4.T:Do you know any rules? (讓學生表達自己已有的生活經(jīng)驗,了解學生的語言基礎(chǔ)。) Ss: 學生自由說說交通規(guī)則:eg: We must look for a zebra crossing. We must look at the traffic lights. Step 2 While-reading (Story time) 1. 學習課文第一部分 T: How can we cross the roads safely ?Let’s learn from the storytime. 1)Read freely 2)Try to answer with “first…,then…” 學生自讀完之后用自己的語言歸納。 3) Read together Finish the form: At the zebra crossing first Look at the traffic lights then Wait for the green man Teach: green\red man T: What is green man? What is red man? What do they mean? The policeman tells us. Let’s read and act. 4)Read and act the policeman. T: When the light is green , that means we can cross the road When the light is red, that means we must not cross the road. What about the yellow man? Ss: (根據(jù)學生已有知識經(jīng)驗)It means “wait” That is to say.Red man means stop, green man means go, yellow man means wait. 2. 自讀課文,學習課文第二部分 T:But sometimes you cannot find a zebra crossing near you.How can we cross the road safely? 1)Read freely. And try to get the main imformation. 2)Line down the answers of these queations. Questions: ①Where must we wait before we cross the road? ②What should we do when we wait? ③How should we look out for the traffic? ④Is it a good idea to cross the road with other people?
